“Watch out, there’s a step coming up” Siwon warned.
It was three days ago since Heechul lost his sight. The doctor’s couldn’t work out how it happened, but they called it a great misfortune.
“Sorry, I’m still getting used to this!” He laughed.
Siwon called him a strong soldier, but he knew that inside, he was crumbling. When they woke up together in the morning, Heechul’s face wasn’t as cheerful as it used to be. He looked sad, but not unhappy. The only thing keeping his sprit’s up was the affection of his lover, Siwon.
They secretly got together after the release of their groups single U, and kept it a secret until their manager walked in on them one morning and made them confess to the rest of the group. They were all pretty cool about it and wished that they told them about it earlier. Ever since that day, they just acted like a normal couple around the others.
“So what do you want to do today?” Siwon asked.
“Ermm, I don’t know. There’s not really much I can do anymore” Heechul replied.
“Don’t say that!” shrieked Siwon. “You can do lot’s of things! Just because you can’t see anything doesn’t mean that you can’t do anything.”
“It does....” he then bows down his head and let’s a tear slide down his blushing cheek.
“Don’t cry!” the younger one says. “I don’t like it when your upset, it makes me hurt in here”.
He touches Heechul’s chest and then grabs his hands.
“You know that I love you right? You shouldn’t forget that. Siwon exclaims.
“I know, but sometimes I beat myself up a bit too much thinking that I’ll never see you again. I’ll never see your amazing smile, your perfect body and your adorable nose. We’ll never have another staring competition and I’ll never see another photo of us together.”
“I’m sorry, I really am. If I could then I’d give you my sight. I’d do anything to make you as happy as you should be. You’re my world and you know you are.” Siwon confesses, as he moves in towards Heechul’s lowered head and kisses his lovers forehead.
