Well, this is it!!  Part 5/5...I might revisit this, since some of you wanted me to, if your reviews were anything to go by...hehe  I hope I did the final part justice...::worry::  Thanx for sticking with this for the whole thing...It means a lot since it was such a departure from my normal style.  Well, I'll just shut up and let you read!!!

<”You just did,” came a quiet voice from the doorway.>

A sharp gasp escaped as he whipped around at Donghae's voice.  “H-Hae!”

Smiling softly, Kangin gave Eunhyuk's hand one final reassuring squeeze before rising to his feet.  "I'll leave you two alone."  To Eunhyuk, he whispered, "Just talk to him," before patting Donghae's shoulder on his way out.

Donghae watched the door close before turning his attention to his boyfriend, who had found a sudden interest in the floor.  He walked over to the bed and sat down.  Neither one spoke, both too far absorbed in his own thoughts.

"Are you mad?"

Donghae looked up at the question.  He sighed after a moment and moved a bit closer.  Slowly, he took hold of his hand and squeezed gently.

"Yeah, I am, but at that bastard, not you; never you."

"Well, you should be."

"Why do you say that?"

"I don't know, really, but all I do lately is push you all away."

"Hyukjae," Donghae began, choosing to use Eunhyuk's real name, "Do you really want to break up?"

He shook his head.  "No."

"Then why'd you tell Hyung that you did?"  There was no anger in the question, only curiosity.

"You should be with someone who isn't afraid of you."

"But, what if I don't want anyone else?" Donghae asked after a moment of silence.  "There's only one person that I want, and as long as I have him, no one or nothing in the world matters."  He wrapped the hand that he had been holding in both of his, bringing it to his lips.  "I want only you.  The good, the bad, the everything.  I love you, and if it's for you, I'll wait forever and a day."

With that, Eunhyuk finally broke down, as if those were the very words that his soul had longed to hear.  One hand moved to rub gentle circles across his back as Donghae's other hand remained, caressing the hand held in his.

"It's okay.  I'm here," Donghae soothed.

"I was s-so scared you'd l-leave me a-alone," he choked, sobs wracking his body.  "If y-you left, I'd die.  I need you so much...love you so much..."

'I think this is the first time I've seen him really cry over this,' Donghae thought, continuing with the gentle ministrations.  After a couple of minutes, however, the singer realized that his boyfriend's tears weren't slowing.  If anything, they were getting worse.  Afraid that the breakdown may induce another panic attack, Donghae slowly brought a hand from the older boy's back to his chin, drawing his eyes to his own.

Eunhyuk must have seen something there, because, after a few moments, the dancer was able to bring himself under control.  Once he was calm, Donghae spoke.

"There must be something about you that makes me wanna wax poetic, but I need to make sure that you understand.  I'm yours for as long as you're mine, and I want you for eternity.  I know it's hard to believe, but you are getting past what happened."

"Really?" he asked, drying his eyes with one of the tissues that Kangin had given him.  "Cuz it sure as hell doesn't feel like it."

"Do you remember that first night in the hospital?  Junsu told me that you wouldn't let anyone touch you.  Now look at you.  I'm able to hold your hand, and rub your back, and touch your cheek."  Running his fingers down the other's cheek, he smiled.  "I can wait a bit for a hug as long as it's you."

Eunhyuk averted his eyes, but not before Donghae saw the slight color of his cheeks.  "Love you, Hae."

"Love you, too."

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

'God, what on Earth compelled me to watch this movie?' Donghae mentally whined as he covered his eyes, effectively blocking the horrifically grotesque-and completely unnecessary-slaughter of a group of cheerleaders.

"I can't believe that he watches this crap.  I mean, what does Hankyung Hyung have against cheerleaders, anyway?" he mumbled.  The brunette considered turning the movie off, but decided that he was far too bored to even consider reaching for the remote.  While lying there ignoring the movie, his mind began to wander.

One month had passed since the attack and things were slowly returning to normal.  Yesung's arm and ribs, while still tender, had nearly completely healed, and the guilt that was so present in the older man's eyes had slowly began to fade as Eunhyuk returned to his former self.

Shortly after their talk, he finally told management about what had happened.  After many talks, they came up with something to tell the press.  The official story was that, on a night out, Yesung and Eunhyuk had been attacked, the younger suffering serious injuries.  Eunhyuk was announced as being on leave for an indeterminate amount of time.  Yesung had been present during the press conference, so no questions were asked once they saw his injuries.

Telling his family, however, had been a much more difficult experience altogether.  His parents and sister dropped everything and drove up that day.  Once they arrived, Eunhyuk's mother and sister moved to hug him, but stopped the second they looked into his eyes.  His father, though, had been on the warpath, wanting nothing more that to have time alone with the man who had hurt his youngest child.

Shaking himself from his thoughts, Donghae decided to stop the movie before the heroine's boyfriend lost any more internal organs at the hands of the psycho killer.  Pulling himself to his feet, he dragged himself into the kitchen, only to see his boyfriend, head against the table and hands nursing a cup of coffee.

"Headache?" he asked, chuckling as Eunhyuk turned his head and glared, obviously hung over.

"Why my sister thought drinking all night was a good idea, I'll never know," he groaned, dropping his head again.

"She gone now?"

"Yeah."

Donghae eyes the mug.  "Want a refill?"

Eunhyuk lifted his head and looked from the mug to Donghae before smiling.  "Yeah."

Taking the cup from him, Donghae walked over to the sink and poured out it's lukewarm contents before pouring a fresh cup.  Grabbing one for himself, he joined his boyfriend at the table.

"I thought you hated coffee."

"Can't stand the stuff," he replied, taking a long drink.

"Then why drink it?"

"Sobers me up pretty quick," he explained, shrugging.

Laughing, Donghae brought his own cup to his lips, swallowing the bitter liquid.  The two sat in comfortable silence until Donghae made a suggestion.  "Wanna watch a movie?"

"I hate Hannie Hyung's slasher movies."

"We can watch something of Heenim Hyung's."

Eunhyuk looked horrified at the suggestion.  "Hae, please tell me you were joking."  Sighing at Donghae's silence, he compromised.  "How 'bout we see if there's anything on TV?"

"Sounds like a plan."  Finishing their coffee, the pair got up and walked into the livingroom.  After getting comfortable, Donghae turned the TV on and began flipping trough channels before finding something that both had wanted to see.

Donghae was simply enjoying his time with Eunhyuk when his breath caught in his throat at the feeling of familiar arms slowly winding around his neck and the gentle press of a smaller body against his side.  Tears sprung from his eyes when he realized what was happening.

Eunhyuk was hugging him.

His arms moved to return the hug, but stopped, not sure what to do.  "C-can I...would I-" he studdered.

"It's okay," was whispered to him, hot breath brushing his neck.

Those were the words that he had needed to hear.  Turning, he wrapped shaking arms around the older boy, holding him as close as possible.  He was unable to keep the tears from falling as he held onto his love like a lifeline.  The warmth and fit of the other's body did nothing to hold back the choked sobs.

"I-Oh, God, I missed this..." he forced out, burying his face in Eunhyuk's neck while running a hand through his hair.  "Is this real?  Please God, let this be real," he murmured.

"It is," came the equally emotion-filled voice.

Donghae tightened his grip, chanting 'I love you' like it was all he knew.

That was how the two stayed, content in each other's arms.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

It was late when they finally returned home.  Leeteuk unlocked the door and entered, only to drop his bag in shock.

"What's up, Hyung?"  Kangin asked.  The group grew worried when they noticed the tears in his eyes.

"What's going on?!" Heechul demanded.  They followed the leader's gaze, and they, as well, grew teary-eyed.

There, asleep on the couch, were Eunhyuk and Donghae.  The younger's arms were securely holding the older against him, and Eunhyuk was holding Donghae in much the same manner.  They had been crying, but their expressions were happy.

Yesung wiped his eyes as Kibum pulled him into a gentle embrace.  Kyuhyun ran into his room, returning a moment later with his blanket, draping it over the two.

"Let's leave them alone,"  Hankyung suggested.  The others readily agreed and quickly split up, all thinking the same thing:

'Everything'll be okay.'
