10. Shiver. Heechul/ Heechul

Heechul felt a shiver down his spine. He can do this. He's no wimp. If they can do this, he can too!
Heechul looked down and cursed Lee SooMan and his promotional antics.
What was he thinking?! He can't do this. When he fall, it'll be the end. Sure, he put up that bravado about if it's your time to die, no matter what you'll die but this is different. If he won't die because of an accident, he'll die because of a heart attack!
"You can do it Hyung~!" The EunHae cheers.
"It's nothing Hyung! You can do it!" Sungmin as he prepares to be the next one.
Hankyung, Siwon and Kibum were giving him the thumbs up sign while Shindong were asking to have his Peppero stash if he dies.
He saw Eeteuk encouraging him from below while Kangin was teasing he's such a girl. Ryeowook was giggling beside him.
Then Yehsung shouted, "Just yell the name of the person you love the most. That'll take care of the fear."
He gulped. He can do this. He's Kim HeeChul afterall. And what's that about yelling the name of the one he loves the most? Hmm..not a bad idea...
Another shiver went down his spine as he jumped to fall.
"Heechul-ah! I love you!!!!!"

27. Replacement. Heechul/Kibum

Kibum knew he could never replace Heechul's first love. Even if he tries his best, he could never replace him. Kibum's smiles were nothing compared to 'his' smiles. When 'he's' in the room, Kibum was forgotten. Heck, he could try somersaulting, bend his body to the limit, eat three live chickens, stand on his head, breathe out fire but the moment 'he' walks in, he'll disappear into nothing.
Kibum knew their relationship wasn't the type of relationship anyone would be proud of. He knew he's just a stand in. Someone to replace the person Heechul cannot have. Their friends were happy for them because they didn't know but not him. He knew everything. From the stares, the secret smiles, the adoration that wasn't for him. He knew but he did nothing. The stares, he knew their friends were thinking what was wrong with him. He had a perfect relationship. But he can't tell them. They'll laugh, be angry or pity him. He knew it was selfish of him but he can't say anything or he'll lose Heechul. The only one that matters was him. As long as Heechul thinks he's enough to replace his love, he'll accept it. He'll accept everything. The smiles not meant for him. The love that wasn't from the heart. The lies of every 'I love you' the resident Cinderella utters. He knew it was all nothing. But to him it was everything. It was his life.
Kibum knew he's replacing that person but there's no need for Heechul to know that he knew.
He's just a substitute. A replacement.
He knew everything.
It's just that...
..It hurts to know.

33. Flirt. Yehsung/Kibum

"Hyung...teach me how to flirt."
Yehsung wasn't sure he heard Kibum right the first time so he did the next logical thing.
He asked "What?"
But Kibum answered in his low voice the words Yehsung was afraid were the truth.
"I said, teach me how to flirt."
So he didn't misheard it. Kibum was really asking to teach him how to flirt.
So he did the next logical thing.
He laughed his head off.
"Hyung~!"
Kibum whining wasn't really an everyday event so he knew this was important to him.
Either that or he's taking lessons from Heechul about Whining 101. Looking at Kibum's determined whining face, there's no choice but to give in. But first..he had to know...
"Why?"
Kibum stared at him after the question. He bit his lips, an act of contemplating, Yehsung thought.
"I won't help you until you tell me why."
"But..."
"No buts Kibummie. Spill or I won't consider anything."
"Fine.IwanttolearnhowtoflirtwiththeoneIlike."
"What?"
"I want to learn how to flirt with the one I like."
"Pardon?"
"I want to flirt with the one I like! And I won't repeat that again. If you won't help me I'll tell Sungmin that you're the one who ate his Pumpkin Pie. Then I'll tell Ryeowook you're the one who took his cd and I'll tell Kyuhyun you told Ryeowook he's the one who took the missing cd. I'll tell Shindong you're the one who ate his Chocolates and I'll tell Umma you gained weight. I'll tell Kangin you told Siwon that he's fat and I'll tell Siwon you told him a lie. I'll tell Hankyung that you said you don't want to eat Beijing Fried Rice anymore and I'll tell Heechul you're the one who gave heebummie the frozen meat that gave his cat stomache. I'll tell Donghae you told me there were no real aliens for him to cry and I'll tell Eunhyuk you made him cry and I'll tell--"
"Enough! Fine I'll teach you! Call me teacher Yehsung from now on." Yehsung interrupted. Who knew Kibum knew so much...He must be careful. He had to know if Kibum knew 'more' of his secrets. Have to keep your enemies close like the saying goes.

Hankyung knew there's something wrong the moment Heechul stood up when he ate the fried rice cooked for him. Kibum followed Cinderella leaving his food uneaten as well. He stared at them and the prepared dinner. The dinner that's starting to get cold.
"What's wrong?" he's like to ask but what good will it do? He wanted to know what's happening but he dared not. He can deal with an upset diva but an upset Rella PLUS an upset Kibummie wasn't something he wanted for dinner. He stared at the Beijing Fried rice, uneaten and left forgotten. He looked at the simple dinner laid out for his friends. The rice was a bit too fried and the vegetables weren't cut the way he used to cut it. The meat wasn't that tender...but it was passable. It's the same...yet so different. But he's sure they can't tell the slight difference, right?
He then noticed Jay, silently pushing the rice around his plate.
"Sorry Geng...guess there is a difference. I can't recreate your masterpiece for them..." He shook his head.
"What's the difference?" he wanted to say but was stopped when Jay dropped his spoon.
"We miss you Geng. It's been a year after all." Whispered Jay as he left the kitchen.
Hankyung frowned.
Then he remembered...
Oh yeah...he's dead.
