I LEARNED A NEW WORD TODAY! And to me, this is always very, very exciting. Also: IT SOUNDS LIKE GALLIFREY. Best word ever!
Okay moving on:
This is gorgeous. I love the concept, and you've written them SO strongly. The ending is lovely without being heavy-handed, and the whole thing is just... sad without being overwrought. You've really found balance, here. And the Pond on a pond joke will never not be funny.

As for gallimaufry, well, thank Catey for critiquing the original phrase used in that paragraph which was way too complicated and long-winded and awkward, so I substituted it with 'gallimaufry'! I've been looking for a chance to use that word in a fic for ever so long. I had the same reaction when I first saw the word a while back: IT SOUNDS LIKE GALLIFREY! :D

But through it all is the lovely humour, like the running Rio joke and the silly Pond on a pond that Amy objects to.
It was all just lovely.

I love stories like this, where Amy can't remember Rory. They're so sad but so perfectly heartbreaking. <3

'Pond on a pond' is such a great gag, I couldn't resist. :)
