hmm. i have much to say. but, not so coherent right now. so, talk later? but, you're gonna go to south africa and argentina, and they'll both be amazing experiences, and i'll miss you like nobody's business but you'll have that calling card thing so it'll be ok. plus, at least one of us needs to model some un-codepency, lol (altho i know you were referring to being far away from more than just me).

i might go to turkey. we can meet somewhere in the middle of africa and have a party. i agree with you i think; it's debatable whether it's better to be honest about individual capabilities or to make a statement that isn't entirely true but will inspire people to do good things. i kind of think anything that makes a small change for the better changes the world in some way--not that one person is the world (that's stupid) but helping one person makes a change in the world. i can see how the statement "i can change the world" does imply a fundmental, global change that wouldn't happen no matter how many small good things you were able to accomplish. it sort of depends on how literally you take the sentence. it's a dumb thing to take a stand on, anyway.
