i'm really glad sharon didn't stay... that would've been hard to reconcile with her character afterward... not 'realistic', is where my mind's at... too fantastical and cheap for the birth of something meaningful. but i dig how you cut crucial things at the end of your snippets... 'cuz i don't really ever know what they did... good to keep the reader wondering. :)
