i've been feeling rather introspective lately. not in a good way or a
bad way, just i'm at a really good place in my life, and i think about
it. maybe i think too much. c'est la vie.
01. What did you do in 2004 that you'd never done before?
worked as a contracted employee-yay eisner and teaching religious
school, got a drivers' license, voted, smoked weed, drank socially,
hooked up with a goy, some other stuff in that genre

Did you keep your new years' resolutions, and will you make more for
next year? i don't remember what mine were.
03. Did anyone close to you give birth? yes, my cousin ayme to baby sarah at the beginning of april

What would you like to have in 2005 that you lacked in 2004? more
motivation, more effort to not be mediocre, emotional fulfillment

are a lot. from the beginning...august 29, move-in day at brandeis!
08. What was your biggest achievement of the year? graduating from high school
09. What was your biggest failure? not being emotionally secure enough with myself for a relationship

11. What was the best thing you bought? my sexy bra. i'm totally serious.

happier or sadder? debatable...i think happier overall, in terms of
life as a whole, but in a different way. definitely more content. this
time last year was a LONG time ago
ii.thinner or fatter? um...same? probably fatter...i eat a lot a lot.
iii. richer or poorer? richer. does it matter?
18. What do you wish you'd done more of? reading. i stopped reading sometime junior year, and i didn't start again til just now.

How will you be spending Christmas? shabbat services, chinese food,
late night movie on christmas eve...then seeing JODY (who i haven't
seen since february) on christmas day
22. Did you fall in love in 2004? the falling itself didn't happen in 2004...i came close at one other point though...

What was the best book you read? hmm. that's hard. i read some good
books for my sociology class (including The Tipping Point, i highly
recommend)...and Wicked was good. i'm reading To Life right now, that's
incredible...

What did you want and not get? love. but it's ok, cause i don't need it
now, i have it from my friends. and i'm not ready for it anyway.

this year? i saw I am Sam...but that wasn't in the movies. i dunno. the
incredibles was good.

What did you do on your birthday, and how old were you? i took an AP
calc test. and went out for sushi for lunch. then studied for another
AP. i was 18. i still haven't bought porn. but i went into a porn shop
for the first time on saturday!

What one thing would have made your year immeasurably more satisfying?
spending more of the first half in the "here and now." although i
suppose at this point it's the "there and then."

you describe your personal fashion concept in 2004? jeans, jew shirts
or wifebeaters, hoodies, clogs. although all of a sudden i've turned
into a walking Gap ad.
34. What kept you sane? talking to my friends. and shabbat.
