Tevez :(

I'd be really disappointed if the hoopla turns out to be about money, because I really don't think it is.

I believe what he's saying about missing his family is the truth. I really don't think England is a good match for him.

See, I'm a partially argentine person, and grew up in argentina. I now am fluent in english and am pretty well-travelled, but I always find it depressing to visit england. Don't get me wrong, I respect the country and think it has had its moment of real cultural greatness in the arts & literature.  Still, I dislike being there--very much.

The weather is so cold, and the people likewise (although polite). Everything seems remote, and it gets really lonely. I can't imagine working there, far from my family, for any amount of money. For a short while maybe, but not for long. It's a genuine relief when you go from England to a 'latin country"--spain, italy, etc.

And that's for me, who speak english and have travelled from childhood. Imagine for Tevez, who had a pretty deprived childhood, and no exposure to other cultures early on, to be there all alone now, without speaking the language. It's "wery difficult".
