Your mother is an amazing woman. Thank you for giving me a glimpse into her life and legacy. I especially love how you managed to entertwine all the ages and perspectives from girlhood to womanhood, all that is motherhood, and all those lessons of compassion and strength in the face of life's challenges. There is a lump in my throat and I'm wiping away tears. Love and hugs to all of you.

Thank you. It spoke to a lot of different folks, as they told me afterwards. I needed to say that she was annoying and infuriating at times. IT took the edge off for the crowd. There were 169 people at the memorial - standing room only! I bailed out of the receiving line at 100 I think. My sister asked for humour and I got great laughs at the right spots - especially the bungee jumping line.

So thanks. I am taking away a lot from this experience of her departure.
