 Why do I want one of these? It makes no sense. I'm not jonesing for one badly, which is good because "lusting after a Chumby" sounds like it might be criminal in some states. No, there's just something about it that perks up the ears of my inner gadget fiend.
 It may be that I checked out the associated Flicker page and saw all the really neat

Seriously, though, My interest in one of these isn't even remotely akin to the fevered need I had for an iPhone.
I just think its kinda neat. Besides. I like saying "Chumby". Chumbychumbychumby.

Oh yes, that's one of the big attractions for me. I'm horrible at leaving things as they are with my gadgets. I hacked my first two iPods, and the only reason I haven't fiddled with the GUI on my iPhone is that Apple's actually releasing a developer kit in February.
Actually advertising hackability (is that even a word?)....well, that's practically adult Legos.
