I've grown to loathe Cinco de Mayo.  Cinco de Mayo is a Mexican-American holiday celebrated mostly in California. I've never had a good Cinco de Mayo. Last year a drunk Mexican guy tried to break into my old apartment because he forgot his exwife moved. He was harmless but scared the shit out of me. The worst Cinco de Mayo was in 2003, I got stuck
