I think that we have to take risky chances in our lives. Honestly, the easy thing to do would be to stay where you are, in the same job, doing the same stuff. Sure, it would increase the depression and "arrested" feeling, but it would be easy.
But, if you take this risk you challenge yourself to grow. You challenge yourself to get out of the "arrested" situation.
I am sure we can all think of a time when we took a calculated risk and the benefits of said ris paid off.
When I am thinking about this kind of stuff, I like to imagine "What is the worst that can happen..." Because it's usually not all that bad.
And, you always have us around to support you, no matter what you decide.
