The Word Game Courtesy of the Sparra!
So here goes I have been given a letter by sparra, I must come uo with ten words beginning with this letter and explain what they mean to me, comment on this entry and I will give you a letter so that you may do the same. I have been given the letter C
so C huh well here goes I suppose.
Christmas: I love Christmas when everyone gets that mid winter high of festive jollility and people seem more friendly and relaxed about stuff. I love spending time with my family and laughing at my mum as she flips out again over 'the stress of Christmas'. Christmas is a happy time and I love having the time to spend it around people I love, ie my friends and family.
Comtemporary dance: This is awesome, I love contemporary dance, I just 'get it'. It clicks with me, it is so expressive and so beautiful. Matthew Bourne rules in this genre and of course Christopher Bruce, Ghost Dances= amazing, Swansong= thoughtful and beautiful. I could watch it all day, and choreograph it all day and hell even possibly Laban notate it all day. It is fun.
Chocolate: THE greatest invention of all time. You can cover almost anything in chocolate and it tastes good. Also chocolate has many uses, the main one being pacifying angry hormonal women...all men should bow down to the man who invented chocolate, your lives would be so much worse without it!
Clam, Crab, Cockle, Cowrie: This is a great song by the wonder that is Joanna Newsom. She rocks majorly, in her harp-playing, harpsichord-loving kind of way. Her songs are so beautiful they open up a place inside me and fill me warmth, I could listen all day, I really, really could.
Crazy: I am frequently told I am this. This works fine for me...I probably am, and you know what? if crazy means not being afraid of being me and having fun then why hardly anyone else is crazy is quite beyond me! Clearly I am awesome so clearly craziness is awesome too.
Chasmosaur: Hehe this is a ceretopsean dinosaur, the only reason I know about this dinosaur is because of...
Charley: Some crazy American I met in Italy, who totally got my craziness and wild fairylike manner. Charley is an interesting fellow...I'll go out on a limb and say I will never meet anyone like him!
Chomsky, Noam: An annoying man who invented SPE phonology and should basically be shot for it, the theory sucks...as do all phonological theories...clearly I need to get working on my own.
Clarity: This is a great word, I wish my world had clarity but it is just a jumbled mess. This word makes me think of serene crisp clear bright air, like the kind you get in the evening in summer.
Clicking: The sound made when tap dancing. Tap dancing is the best dancing of all time...it rules and it is my absolute favourite because I best at it...I think I won the most of my awards for tap dancing. It is also the sound made when Irish heavy shoe dancing...this is like tap but with much more confining rules as to foot position and does not allow the use of arms. I also rock at this. For some reason my feet totally have rhythm. I wish I was tap dancing right now...my tap shoes are lonely at home just waiting to be tapped with.
