Yes, I've suddenly found a new and entirely lovely obsession in the world of soccer/football/fussball/footie/whatever-the-hell-you-call-it-in-your-country. Quite a few months after the World Cup, as well. Hmm.
Funny thing is, I spent my entire time during the World Cup pouting that England lost and being annoyed at just how well Germany was doing. And now, my head's been overrun by the constant need to look up every single piece of German football news there is. And find pictures. Many, many pictures. (And such excellent pictures there are! I'm fussing over my new collection right now.)
I'd like to turn this into a ridiculously long ramble about everything I absolutely love about this sport and why exactly it must be the best thing ever, despite my family's stubborn protests to the contrary. However, I'm feeling just so overwhelmed by love for it that I couldn't possible write anything that long and still be coherent. I'm actually not too sure about the coherency of this current post, but whatever.
I'm starting to wish I actually played soccer.
