I was concerned that I would be so prejudiced against True Blood, just because it wasn't Buffy, but yes, I'm liking it. So well done, and I really like the character of Tara - great comic relief.

Actually, I didn't think of Buffy at all when I heard about it.. with the psychicness and all, I thought more of Blood Ties and Moonlight, where the former proved to be a bit of a let down and I'm not sure why. Perhaps 'cause things got a bit odd. And Moonlight got cancelled, so go figure :/

I hope they show TrueBlood here, I've read the whole book series and love it. The clips that I've seen look pretty good, though Bill isn't as hot as he should be ;)

I did read bits of some fanfic.. and it did have some psuedospoilers, based on the books, so I'd really want to read the books too! I read the first Dexter novel after having seen seasons 1 and 2, and it felt quite ok, knowing that bits simply have to be altered for tv and all.

Nownow, the actor that plays Bill has a certain charisma still ;)
