I'm getting pulled towards the so called Tinies (about 30 cms height) and even smaller than that scaled BJDs... like the
LittleFee (although more Barbie sized) and the
PukiFee (closer to miniature doll scale), and the Sleeping Elf
Moona and
Mina etc.. I think I prefer The Sleeping Elf bjds though, for miniature scaled houses and furniture, because they look more mature, and less like big kids in adult size, walking around in miniature dollhouses.
Pixelated PicturesBuilds small scale houses, such as the ones seen
here!
Browse through
WendyWithDolls' flickr pics for adorable pics like
this photo, with the cute wittle ladybug tea pot. The detail is just so wonderful.
I also recommend browsing the
Gage Goes to Tiny Town, Colorado set.
And it is no wonder
ELF Miniatures have a disclaimer on their webby stating "Please note that all our products are SCALE MINIATURES and NOT full-sized furniture."...
For a few gems, imo, that I wouldn't mind in actual human size...

And woo, this ready cut miniature dollhouse was just so cute, must be that outside porch thing that does it.

And in other words, I came, I iconed aaand I was eliminated in the first challenge of the
fifth round of LIMS in
wizard_icontest. Yup, this monitor is veeery dark, must remember that >_< As that was the main critique on my icon.
A LIMS = Last Icon Maker Standing, and one or two iconmakers are usually voted off for each challenge, 'til there can be only one ;)
Procedure is.. once after signup, challenges are continously posted. And once everyone has submitted icons to the current challenge, a voting is held, where one in this case can vote for least favourite, and second least favourite as well as overall favourite. Motivation must be objective. So "I hate pink in icons!" is a bad voting comment, whereas "I find the colour pink is not a good choice with that composition because it clashes with the blue..." is a better one. Isn't the iconing culture on LJ fascinating?
Oop, back to chasing mutated dust bunnies and re-digging up my essay stuff!
