Firstly, should you like fiddling with icons and also game of thrones, please consider submitting entries to Week 16 for acontestoficons! There are but 8 entries for each challenge. Deadline is tonight at 10 PM CET!

And yes, the latest GoT season makes me want to (painfully) wring Joff's neck even more, and slap Sansa even more! But I'm sure looking forward to more none the less.. have yet to watch all of latest ep, capping whilst watching makes for slooow watching, yus.

And should you prefer voting only, please have a peek at.. Voting for Week 15

Secondly, Scylla tummy still not behaving. Awaiting blood test results shortly.

Thirdly, there are two banks with local bank offices here. One has recently stopped handling cash at their office, using arguments like "Everyone uses cards nowadays anyhow"..

"Like wtf", you say? Uh yeah, my sentiments exactly. Someone said it was like if a restaurant would stop serving food. And many elderly that also preferred a personal touch when withdrawing (and transferring) money from their account have switched banks. So clearly not everybody prefers using debit/credit cards. I can relate, it is easier to keep track of how money you have and can spend, when you have x money left in your physical wallet.

Then again, cash services, like a mobile wallet have started to appear.. so when might we be fully irl-cash-less, I wonder? Or is that not likely? Not too long ago the average person did not handle anything online, like paying bills and online transaction for when buying/selling stuff. But now, it's quite common. So I'm curious..

-> What are things like at your local bank office/town etc?
-> What do you think are possible future trends and the consequences on a personal, societal and global level?
