We got our first box from Crate and Barrel--and it's strange how much more tangible our wedding seems now. It's still two months away, but man, people are buying and sending us things! This means we have to go through with it, I guess ;o

Ha, don't apologize for doing something you want and know you will enjoy. It's your (and E's) day, so don't let anyone get under your skin. And don't apologize for your choices. I mean, saying "I'm sorry you don't like the table linens" or "I'm sorry you feel that way" is completely different from "I'm so sorry you would have chosen Ecru instead of Ivory. Let me change what I want to satisfy YOU" Of course, I might have said that sarcastically, given the chance. People should realize that you're doing what makes you happy and back off.
