Last night I saw Gallows and ETID again with Denni (<3) and this time Rolo Tomassi were supporting. I've seen them once before and I never quite know what I think about their music. Because the rhythm is really weird and disjointeds and everytime I start getting into a song they change tempo and its confusing

Ugh god, that's horrible. I hate that kind of stuff. It's always the ugly ones that do it too cos they feel threatened by an attractive woman and so they try to make themselves feel better by being sexually aggressive twats.

I had the misfortune of standing next to two such twats on the train home the other night. The whole time they were saying things like "you remember that bird I fucked, the blonde one..." and "yeah I'd fuck her but she's not much to look at" and my personal favourite "she wanted to fuck me but of course she did, I mean look at me". At this point I snuck a sneaky look at them out the corner of my eye and man...fugly doesn't even cover it.

I'm sure she can handle it, but you're right in that she shouldn't have to.

Exactly, at the end of the day whilst she probably is capable of handling it, she shouldn't have to, guys shouldn't think that just because there's a girl up there on stage for their attention they get the right to hurl abuse at them.

And those guys on the train sound of a similar type to the guys at the gig. I do detest men like that.

Those pathetic twats make me want to just shake my head because they're pretty much hopeless. I don't think they'll get very far in life by being so rude to women. It also means they're less likely to reproduce and, let's be honest, it's probably a good thing.

Exactly! Like...ok we joke about Keith Buckley...but quietly, too ourselves, and we know it's just a joke, we'd never actually say these things where he could hear. These guys were yelling stuff to her in the quiet between songs where everyone can hear and...yeah they'd never let people speak to their sister or (unlucky) girlfriends.

I've never had anyone really try and fuck with me at a gig before, girl or not, but to be honest I get so stubborn about things like that, that if some guy thought id be an easy targer i'd just cling to the front harder, and refuse to move no matter how much pain I'm in, because I wouldn't want them to win!
