I spent an hour watching bad TV, so... *g*

I actually enjoyed watching aspects of the date. I mean, the entire thing was a chance to see PM do his thing, and he's just so utterly charming. I mean, it was absolutely another one of those, "So tell me again why you're not in love with Larry?" episodes, so...

Oddly enough, I feel worse for me than for Larry, as Larry might actually have some sex, and he doesn't actually have to watch Numb3rs (and I suspect it's easier to experience it than to watch it when it fucks up). But anyway, I'm glad you liked my silver lining.

As a slasher, coming off of last week's, "And now, Charlie gets laid!" episode, it was one of those weeks where either I wrote a palate cleanser or I gave up on the fandom entirely.

And I love PM too much to give up, I guess.

I am such a horrible person--and so not in love with Charlie sometimes. Because, though I don't like her for essentially cheating on him, I do sort of appreciate why she wouldn't choose Charlie over the guy with the kids, even after sleeping with him. Because I cannot imagine that Charlie is good enough in bed as to overcome all his problems (and yeah, I'm saying that even though I want him in bed with Larry, but only because I think that Larry can assist Charlie in being a better thinker/man than he is now.)

Thank you. There's really nothing that makes writing more worthwhile than knowing that you've put the squee on someone *g*.

He imagined putting his hand on Charles' shoulder, drawing him close, pushing him away, throwing the book at him, throwing him down to the floor, giving up and saying it out loud.

You? Are brilliant.

Just thought you should know.

And you have excellent taste in fans and stories *g*.

I'm happy the story did more than just cheer me up (and it did do that, I have to say).

I do, don't I? *preens*

It did a lot more than just cheer you. It made me get a glimpse of my own Numb3rs muse. It's been gone since I saw Doctor Who. *resists urge to kill Miri for making Lucy want to write in this crappy fandom again...*

Muse, thy name is Terpsichore. At least this week.

I know, I know--it's hard to resist the Doctor dancing. But really, at least now we know that Larry's interested in going dancing!

Love the story, of course. (As opposed to the last 2 eps) Palate cleanser indeed.

The idea that Larry was willing to take *anybody* dancing is mind boggling. My mind does boggle quite easily, though, I'm afraid. I can't get several possible images out of my mind, including one w. PM in a white/blue striped summer suit w. straw hat and cane, on stage under a single spotlight, the slow lift of the hat revealing a mischievous yet self-deprecating smile.... And the idea of Larry with an actual *partner* (esp. Charlie) sends me...well, it just sends me.

Thanks for the escapism.
