Oh, I like this a lot. Your Alan tends to be...not happy about the idea of Larry and Charlie, regardless of how fond he is of Larry -- but each time, you draw his issues a little differently, and each time, they ring true for me. Poor Larry's feet, but I feel certain that Charlie will make it up to him, somehow...

Just catching up. It's funny but I can't ever seem to see Alan as approving wholeheartedly of anything Charlie does. I don't think that anyone really ever approves, without reservation, of their kids' choices. There's always a question there of whether they will come to be hurt, whether you, as parent, could have taught them better, etc.

And yes, Larry's sure to demand payment for those stepped-on toes *g*.
