I found this bone in the forest today. Any ideas what it could be from?

No idea! Looks like it could possibly be a femur, though. Possibly a humerus.

What kind of animals live in this particular forest?

That's a knee joint, isn't it?

One end looks (from the pictures, anyway) like it has been sawed off, so I'd guess it's someone's food leftovers.
