Why won't kitty come when I call? I say "Come here, kitty. I love you." But she never comes. Sometimes she even runs away.

*sigh* I guess kitty just doesn't understand baby talk.

It's not that kitty doesn't understand babytalk. Kitty understands perfectly well. Kitty just has very selective hearing.

Don't take it too hard though. Kitty doesn't hear us grown-ups either.
