New cross stitch project, because I cannot be idle, even if I'm on the sofa feeling like something the cat dragged in. "Seidhr" from art work by Marc Potts. 400 stitches x 622 stitches, over a metre high. Yeah, I'm officially insane.

You can! I bought the design online as a download and have printed the pattern out http://heavenandearthdesigns.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=160_57&products_id=6433 Be warned though, they have SO many gorgeous designs!

I haven't done cross stitch for years, but I loved it and felt like starting something which would keep me going for a few years. I know it's crazy, what with all the creative bits and pieces I do, but I couldn't resist this pattern and with the Norse links, it was doubly irresistible!

AHHHHHHHHHHHH!! No word of a lie, that exact design was the first thing I ever stitched!! Mum has it framed on her living room wall! Wow, that's a complicated one, but so beautiful.

Yeah, I can't get into the small ones, it's epic or nothing with me *eyeroll*

LOL, meanwhile I've two cross-stitch projects just sitting here, that I keep meaning to do when I'm not reading or writing.

*hugs* Hope you feel better soon.

Oh that looks so complicated. Are you doing it in wool or floss? I think it would look stunning either way.

I'm still working on a Winnie the Pooh cross stitch growth chart I was making for my friend's first child (her second child is over a year old now)! And I have about 8 counted cross stitch kits plus some printed kits plus my knitting projects plus my sewing projects all lined up and waving desperately for some attention. And I have a woollen tapestry of the Laughing Cavalier which I got about 30 years ago and haven't got anywhere near finishing. And yesterday a friend gave me another woollen tapestry which her mother had started years ago and wasn't going to finish.
