It's been a few weeks

Sorry I haven't been posting or commenting much *snicker* like I said I would. It's kind of tough to be online much because I'm having trouble with one eye. I can only deal with being on the computer for short bursts, and I use most of that time to do work. All should be back to normal after next week, though because I'm having minor surgery to ( Read more... )

Mirk, I hope the eye surgery goes well. I had a chalazion that lasted for months and my doctor said I might have to have it surgically removed. I didn't, but then it never got as bad as yours. I sympathize with you, they are truly a pain in more ways than one. I hope you're better soon.
~HUGS~Keep up those warm packs.

I have one in the upper lid as well, but it's been there since 2005 and the doctor said they usually won't remove them from the upper lid in case sutures are needed, they might scratch the cornea as you blink. The lower lid doesn't touch very much of the cornea, so they'll take this one out. Especially since it herniated, it needs to be removed. Figures :P

I am. Just been away from eljay a bit... not much going on that catches my interest at the moment. *shrugs*

Ok, you know me, I can't have just one banner, so don't know which one you mean: Orlando and the stained glass window, or DiCaprio from Blood Diamond? I think you'd mistake Leonardo for Ewan before you'd mistake Orlando for Ewan, but just checking. :P

Thanks, and that's how I look right now... one eye really wide and one half closed. :P

I hope your eye surgery goes easily and you find relief quickly. I can't imagine how annoying that must be!! *hugs*

Sounds like you're getting the house in great shape. it's great that hubby can build stuff--that way you get exactly what you need. I don't know how many times I wish now I'd taken shop in high school. LOL

Thanks :D

It's getting there, slow, but sure. I'll let you know how great it is when the work is done on the cases... Mr. Mirk isn't the most patient person in the world and it may be his work shop that needs renovating next if things don't go well. :P

0_0 Mr. Mirk is building things? I wish I could do that. Some day I'm going to have to road trip up and see your new house. *g* Good luck with the eye procedure. *hug*

It'll be new by the time you get here :P Right now, the kitchen and both bedrooms look new, but the house it 78 years old. Built like a brick shit house, as my mom would say. When we were doing the kitchen, the contractor broke his nail gun on one of the beams, the wood is so solid. o.o

Mr. Mirk is very good at building things, but getting to the end product is rough. He panics easily when every little thing doesn't go exactly the way he planned it. *eyeroll* It can be... annoying.

*smooch*
