Well!
So, my brother and his fiancée have been planning to get married sometime next summer.
I talked to them and my mom today, and they have moved the wedding up to September 4th of this year.
Now, they need to do what works best for them. They've moved it up so drastically because she needs to get health insurance, which she will get the military insurance after marrying Kyle, and because she can get more funding for school if she is an independent student. So far as I know, no one is pregnant or anything drastic like that.
But still. Some of us can't get off work on such short notice, let alone afford to take so much time off on short notice, let alone afford to COME to the wedding on such short notice. And they know that, and know that very few people will be able to come to the ceremony. It will be a frakking miracle if Jason and I can make it. It's going to be tough for my parents to make it!
Bleh. I hope we can go. We'd been tentatively planning to visit them this fall anyway, and if we make it to the wedding, that will be our trip instead. It's just...stressful. I finally get a job, and now I have to suddenly ask for like a week off. Woot.
