School is kicking my butt, and I didn't need a natural disaster to help it along. No one told me senior year meant work, nor did I learn that being an RA during an earthquake meant actual responsibility.

On the bright side, I got a free roommate out of the deal. Sweet.

"Free" as in I didn't have to persuade her to stay over. She can be skittish when it comes to getting close to a guy, so offering her a place to stay was a good way to get some quality time with her.
