Oooh, good story! I like hearing Mary's POV; she always interested me; I wished she'd been a good alien and Toshiko could have a nice relationship. Alas!

The man was wrong, and it terrified and enthralled her, here on this planet of constant, unrelenting, vapid noise.

Really well done. I loved Mary's perceptions of the rest of the Torchwood team's weaknesses so much. TBH, I was pretty much rooting for her. Great use of the italics to express the thoughts.
