Blessed are the Forgetful
Hmm yes ... day two should have been on the 15th, but at least it's in the same month right? *feels bad*
This could easily be so many things but I think that I am just going to have to go for the safe option.
Now as a film student I encounter at least 5 films a week I have never seen before or that I am fully experiencing for the first time so it makes picking this pretty difficult. If I was really honest with myself I doubt I could ever pick my definative favourite film of all time. After all, I've not seen so many films my favourite film could still be lurking out there somewhere, waiting for me to find it. However, until that day comes, whenever someone asks I always answer with Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind because ... well do I need a reason? The script is genius, the performances are heartwarming and heartbreaking at the same time. The cinematography is just beautiful and it was directed by Michel Gondry. On paper that's pretty much my ideal film, and I suppose that's the case in practise too. So there we go.
And as a extra treat here is the quote that the film's title is from, because it's perfect:
