So, after taking three planes to get to Puerto Rico, I ended up in bed with an ear infection that turned into a sore throat, which in turn decided it really wanted to be a fever and cough. Puerto Rico sounds marvelous! I'm so glad you had a good time, sans the sickness. How is your family doing? Did you take Birdi back to the States with you, or did you leave her in PR?

Family is good, my mom lost a lot of weight, she's half the size she was before going to Puerto Rico. And no, I left little Birdi back home in Puerto Rico. I think she would have been pissed if I tried to get her onto a plane. My mom told me last night that she's getting even more rowdy.
