[Private to self] Thank each and every god listening that that awful Veritaserum wore off, and that I've finally gotten some good sleep. It isn't as if anyone who couldn't talk their way out of a paper bag couldn't dodge around the purpose of the potion, but, really, it does make leading the public a lot easier when you do not have to pick and choose carefully what words you can write. [Public] Only just having returned home recently on a goodwill mission abroad to promote the fairness and reasonableness of the Ministry, it was with equal parts shock and horror that I found that the Dark Mark had been seen again in our city. It has only been a few years since that mark was finally erased, but I know I was, at last, beginning to feel like it was over.
I am sure I write the words of everyone when I say that I hope the Ministry is looking deeply into what could have caused this, hopefully, horrible mistake to be allowed to happen. Surely, they are merely waiting for the right moment to unveil their plans for a Public Forum to discuss what occurred and allow us all to speak our minds on this matter. With such a thing as the Registry in place and, undoubtedly, doing its job well, surely no here-to-fore unknown former Death Eater could have escaped the long arm of the Ministry.
Let us hope this forum comes soon. Assuredly, the Ministry will want as much assistance from the populace as it can get, and, undoubtedly, apprising us all of where the situation stands will do much to ease our worried minds. I know I, for one, will rest easier with this man, whomever and wherever he is, safely where he belongs. [/Public]

A signing of the book that 'tells all of my fight with the Death Eaters' will, hopefully, bring the positive press that I so need at this time.
