I have been becoming dear friends with one Millicent Morsus. Perhaps you know her husband, Montague, now of Cumbria? I myself had a lovely outing with him on the lakes in the very early summer, and he has a brilliant mind. I do believe that he would be useful to you, and vice versa. If you should like, I can discuss with Millicent any proposed plans you might have.

Besides, I was well aware that the Prophet would not touch my offer in any way, shape, or form. Everyone knows that rag is a mouthpiece for the Ministry and only occasionally gets both the facts right and completely presented only rarely. The single-minded Ministry is currently decided on one track it will not deviate from, and the Prophet supports that. Since they chose to throw their weight behind the arrest of that woman, my suggestion of anything that would cast a doubt on that arrest had to be ignored as the 'rumours' that it had to be.
As they say, talk is cheap.
