I think Spanish would be more beneficial in the long run. When you get out of college and get an actual job, it'll be helpful to know Spanish rather than French. I mean, seriously. How many people speak primarily French in their homes?
hahaha. yes, this is true, more people speak spanish in america. BUT- what if i decide to move to canada? hm? what about that? i think the reason i would want to take french, actually, is because my favorite movie is Amelie, and I'd love to watch it without the subtitles. But yeah, you're right, realistically, spanish is much better to learn, because i know for an almost fact i'll never move out of the country.
