Niki jumped slightly, then she relaxed and smiled cheerfully when she saw Thelma. "Oh, hi, Thelma!" She stood up and tugged her shorts up the rest of the way. "Sorry. Guess I shouldn't have left the door open, huh?"

Niki laughed as she zipped up her shorts. "We were never allowed to keep our bedroom doors closed at home," she said, falling back onto the bed. "I guess I'm not out of the habit yet. You coming in?"
