I'm rather sorry it's still freaking people out - I'd toned it down a lot because I couldn't bear making it closer to the real cases I'd read.

Don't apologize! If you consider who I'm dating, you'd see that I'm not easily bothered by any type of fiction. I never like it when people think they should tell someone that their writing (especially fiction) is too extreme... It should push buttons and raise emotions. Real life is uncomfortable sometime. If you don't like it, don't read it... But never tell a writer that they should tone it down for the sake of your own comfort.

If you were condoning child abuse or something for real, I'd have a problem. But it's fiction and it shouldn't always be pleasant rainbows and butterflies.

I like it the way it is :)
