For the first time drawing them, Olina and Leilani look pretty good. Okay, Leilani looks a little...Rastafarian, but that's my fault for giving him dreadlocks. I don't picture him like that, because my dreadlocks are far from realistic looking. But he looks good. ^^; And Olina. Wow, she looks so pretty! You hit her spot on. *tears*
Ryu's hair isn't all that difficult, really. It's just in layers. Otherwise, you have everything right. But yes, ponytail is also perfectly suitable for him. Shinzui's unpatterned color is exactly what it's supposed to be, so you did good there. :)
Both look awesome, and I can't wait to see the rest of them. :)
Yeah, I was pretty happy with Olina. Leilani still needs some work, though. I agree, he does look a little Rastafarian; maybe I should make the dreads smaller next time.
It's not really the layers that bother me, it's the fact that they start out curly and wind up straight. I know it sounds simple enough but it gives me trouble. o.O I think it turned out better here, but it's something I have to work on.
Thanks. :) Hopefully the final two will be done in a couple more days.
