Most of this journal is readable only by LJ friends. There are no thrilling secrets on it; it's mostly stories about my cats, pictures of my knitting projects, and reports of writing in progress. I just commented at length on Eli's blog, and I am very interested in what you wrote in response to his "butch" entry, which you called "the world's hugest comment"... I'd really enjoy reading your opinion.

I notice you didn't reply to what I wrote (which I assume means that you dissaprove of my comments)... so if you DO add me, I promise I won't comment on your blog!

I feel hesitant and a little afraid to engage in this dialogue, precisely because I'm taken aback by statements like "I assume means that you disapprove of my comments." The fact is, I teach at a small college in the South where classes have just begun, and I have multiple disabilities ... so I can't always get to things as quickly as I want to, or as other people think I should.

That said, I do appreciate your desire to learn more. Read away.

I have no idea who you are and we have never met. What am I doing here? Well etana posted a birthday wish for you and since curiosity and cats go together I had to check who the birthday girl was! About cats, well, I've had cats all my life and my last one HRH (His Royal Highness) Maharajah a 15-pound black male lived to be 16. I have no cats at the moment as I have been traveling a lot in the last 5 years. Northampton? I have no idea where it is... sorry! From reading above comments you sound like an interesting person. Hi shrff14! Welcome to Hotlanta! (not very hot right now). I love wearbear & I'm glad he pointed you to me.

I am very sorry to say that you're arriving right between two queer events: the Femme Mafia's Masquerade Ball on the 27th and S. Bear Bergman's visit starting on the 6th. However, there's other stuff as well ... I've seen drag king shows at the Red Chair, so you may want to look them up and see if they have anything interesting going on that weekend. Give me a holler when you're here and maybe we can go check something out together. You are now Added :).
