Describe the outfit you would wear to the ball.
Something with a very distinctive 50s feel to it, without a doubt. Possibly a wiggle dress as they're a little classier than the usual swing dresses I would otherwise opt for. Probably in a deep green. Basically, this dress:
But red or black would definitely be options, too. I'd have my hair in victory rolls, with red lips and red nail polish. On my legs? Nude tights with a black seam running down the back. As for my shoes, these:
Black, but with a hint of red to tie in with my make-up. I'd still want to keep a slight rockabilly feel, though, so I'd probably add a small knuckle duster necklace or something to that effect.
Describe how you would spend your time with your date at the ball and after it.
I'm not a huge fan of dancing, but if my date wanted to, I'd be happy to indulge him for a little bit. How I envision actually spending my time at a ball? Standing with my date, our backs to a wall, drinks in hand, and giggling at each other as we make up stupid stories about the other people there. Ridiculous voices, included, of course. Afterwards, we'd go grab a curry, then head back to either one of our places and veg on the sofa with a film as we proceed to stuff our faces.
Describe what kind of a date you would like in general / your ideal date scenario.
I hate going out to restaurants for dates, so if we're talking first dates, I'm more than happy going to a coffee shop or a pub instead. I really despise eating in front of someone you're only just getting to know. Subsequent dates? Well, seeing live music is always fun. Or stand-up comedy. Both really help you to relax and actually enjoy the night. I totally recommend.
