I would just like to point out the obvious. If someone has a FaceBook account, they can read EVERYTHING you post on FaceBook, even if they are not your friend. If you choose to make shit public, that's what happens ( Read more... )

I had the pictures of the kids pointed out to me. I said something to the poster of the pictures, that she should get permission before leaving them up, because of the aforementioned reasons stated. Then I told the poster she should pull the video down as well. The poster of the pics and videos took me off her friends list.

I guess I'm just baffled? I mean, I know..the history, I guess as it were, and I just didn't think this would be taken- well I didn't think that the poster was engaging in that kinda shittiness, I just thought maybe she hadn't realized or something.

But, um, yuck. Really. You just confirmed that perhaps this person was doing it to be a douche.

I have to say that I'm a facebook junkie, and I know exactly what you mean. I usually think twice before posting, just to make sure. I'm friends with some of my professors and former students, so I don't want to post anything that will come back to haunt me. But then again, I have a brain and hate drama.

I haven't heard of this kind of abuse, though, and I'm kinda curious now. What happened? Somebody posted pictures of somebody else's kids as their own?
