Haha, everything you wrote here is exactly the same as my reactions! John is so, so cute in that parka someone must hug him! It deeply saddens me that parkas will now be traumatic for Sherlock to see John wearing and thus the likelyhood of more John in a parka from wardrobe becomes slim to none :'(
