i was wicked excited when gene told me he had make believe...but as a =w= fan i'm going to wait until may 10th to hear it for my first time....plus i know if i get a bootleg copy i'll never purchase one...and i must complete the =w= collection...so yea....

but how does it compare to lets say blue or pinkerton?

i definetely think it is up to and some songs may even surpass blue/pinkerton. i think it reminds me the most of pinkerton although there are 2 songs that are blue-esque and then there are two that are completley different. each one is great in its own way, which makes the cd so wonderful. i think my least favorite is actually beverly hills, but other than that it could possibly become my favorite weezer album, although choosing one album over the others is nearly impossible.

i'll probably still end up buying it because i care that much.
but may 10th...you're going to be ecstatic.

Alright, "hey alex, it's ben p." Anyway, to reply to the reply, here's my own mini review on Make believe and comparing to blue. First off, this album beats the shit out of green and maladroit. Some songs just own, and others are alright. Honestly, nothing and yes, including htis compares to pinkerton. It's got some of the feel, the lyrics in a lot of the songs REALLY sound pinkertonish. A few of the songs like jess said are really blue-esque. Whlie the album probably isn't as allaround good as blue, there are a couple of songs that could stack up against some in blue. And to alex, dude, that IS serious willpower to wait, I just can't. Anyway, I'm done ranting...see all you guys weds in hell at 7:22

omg..i left the cd in my car, and completely forgot it was there until like..2 minutes ago when i freaked out and rushed down the stairs and into my garage.

the best part is that i almost fell down the stairs while the rushing was occuring. luckily the wall caught me, but very loudly, which caused my dad to come out of my parents room all panicked thinking i was lying at the bottom of the stairs.

which i was not.
and yes, i did manage to leave you a really long, pointless comment about this.
