[M!Zuko is tired of watching his pathetic other self. Mirror Zuko has been stalking Zuko and listening in on his conversations. Late at night he begins writing on the mirrors that line the 10th floor hallway, in animal blood, of course. The messages are totally insane and disjointed. His handwriting is scrawled due to having to write backwards. ( Read more... )

[Action] why is this so long? politedames September 16 2011, 04:05:40 UTC
[This is one of the few times where Adachi's mirror has had no luck at all. Because, really, what can be worse than running into a guy who's in the middle of writing messages in blood? Really, it's like he's the only sane person on this side! No, really, the notion is just so baffling!

To be honest, this is why he's been avoiding talking to most people on this side. There's just too much crazy for his mind to handle.

But Adachi's mirror isn't the type to run, so he just very calmly adjusts his tie. This really is none of his business, though, and those messages lead him to believe the kid probably isn't pleasant...

He's got to remind himself that even at the turn of a corner he can find anything. ...Eurgh, since there's really no way to go about this, he may as well do it professionally.]

...Excuse me.

[The crazed teenager finishes writing one of the words and smashes his paintbrush into the surface of the mirror. He looks..strangely happy, despite the rage eating away at him. How dare he be the one labeled not real, when his other was so..weak. He is so involved in his task that at first, he doesn't even notice the other mirror. Eventually he does when the boy speaks up, and his attention snaps over to him.]

[M!Zuko's psychotic amber eyes are focused straight on him. Oh, if looks could kill.]

Excuse you.

[Yeah, that isn't creepy at all. Sorry, Zuko, looks don't exactly scare him. Your messages are unsettling, yeah, he can give you that.

You'd think he killed someone close to Zuko or something, jeez.

And, of course he was right about the kid. He should really make a note to assume everyone here is crazy until he actually talks to them.]

I don't mean to be rude or spy on you.

[Trust the guy with no facial expression, Zuko. He clearly has nothing to hide.]

But may I ask you a quick question?

[He snarls visibly. Yerp, Zuko is pretty crazy. Personally, he views this intrusion as very rude. The mirror was just going about his personal business and now he's being asked questions. What does he answer? His response is trite, a hoarse, single word that leaks out of his clenched jaws.]

No.

[ Mirror Alto finds her....himself in front of one of the mirrors that mirror Zuko had written on. With a slight frown on his face, he looks just like a damsal in distress ]

This was one of my favorite viewing spots...

[Jubilations. Yet another mirror who finds the actions of their opposite contemptible. Dean Smith is so impressed. He might even take a moment to admire the lack of skill used to execute these horrendously rendered scribbles over almost every reflective surface.

With any luck, he can run into the positively brilliant artist behind the new graffiti, and- Oh, there he is.

Hello, sir.]

So you're the mastermind behind the red scrawl? You have my compliments, really - Not everyone is such a skilled interior desecrator.

[And he's as dry as a dirty martini.]

[Hmm? The mirror snickers at the compliment. He gives Dean a glance, but continues writing with his little painbrush and his wonderful bucket of animal blood.]

I try my best.

[Oh, sweet, misguided youth. It's not a compliment.]

I was being facetious.

[Oh dear. Zuko's eyes narrow and he raises his voice slightly. Unlike his other, he's a bit less likely to fly off the handle.]

I don't need your approval. Your's, or any other sorry mistake of the Queen.

[Of course! He's the only one the Queen needs, in his mind, anyway.]

[Why? Why do some people on his home side have to be so crazy? The mirror peeked around a corner, having watched the mirror fire bender writing all over the glass surfaces. He gathered up some courage to approach.]

What are you doing and why are you doing that...? With... that? Why?

[Minato pointed to... ugh, that bucket of blood. Maybe he didn't want to know where that blood came from.]

[He hisses.]

Mind your own damn business.

[The blood? Well, why use ink!? After all, he's trying to shake his real!self up.]

[Minato winced and backed away just a bit.]

It's sort of everyone's business when you're going around writing things in blood. It's harder to read too than if you just wrote normally...

H-how come you think you deserve to be real and not him? What did he do?

I said mind your own business. Are these messages for you? No, they're not.

It isn't your business.

[He comes around the corner in time to see that last message being written.]

That can be arranged.

[Zuko actually stops to question what the kid has to say.]

How do you think it can?

..of course it can, but I need to get my hands on him first.
