Although this mirror here had his Evoker or summoning device, courtesy of his own other and one mirror!Yuu Aikawa, Minato had been having plenty of second thoughts about giving that Lucifer's Blade to the Queen. She had her Vorpal Blade already, surely she didn't need another sword for her collection.
She must have known that this coup d'etat and uprising was happening. And if she did know, then all the more reason for Minato to steal his sword back from her quarters. But it was still somewhat unnerving that she wasn't anywhere to be found. He had to be careful.
Minato was carefully scouring the room though. He saw his sword on the wall, and he would get in a second, yet he couldn't help but take a look around now that he was there.
It's more by chance than anything else that Yuu finds himself at the Queen's quarters. You see, not many people happened to be here, and with the chaos going on elsewhere...well. This particular rabbit had decided to go to ground in the quietest place he could find.
He wasn't really expecting to find anyone else there.
Minato also hadn't expected to see anyone there just yet, or he thought that he had been alone. But that voice was familiar, and he was completely surprised to hear it while it wasn't behind some closed door or over the network.
"Yuu...? You're here, you're really here, and you're... you're outside of your room!"
He immediately went to be beside his friend, still a bit in shock over seeing him.
"Are you okay...? Really okay? I mean, it... it's going to be kind of crazy here or it already is, but... you know what I mean."
Philip stumbles across the quarters by ridiculous chance. A noise he thinks he heard in the corridor and a door that's providing an excellent opportunity to escape. On the one hand it could just be any ordinary room. On the other hand... he just doesn't find room for doubt.
"That's..."
'Ridiculously fancy? I know, right? Hey. Hey, you wanna go and steal some stuff? How 'bout those eyes over there? For old times' sake?'
Philip turns his head, spotting the right over there soon enough. He approaches curiously and taps the glass, nowhere near as unsettled by the eyes' reaction than he might have been a little over a year ago.
His hands reach out cautiously, wrap around the glass and--
"What am I doing, that's absurd," he mutters and draws back his hands, briefly pocketing them for emphasis.
'Just don't say I didn't say anything when you gotta open another security door later.'
Huffing Philip turns away from the oddly pickled peekers and gives his attention to the rest of the room, things that are actually worth examining and
While he doubts that the Queen is just laying around with everything that's happening, Miguel is starting her search for her there. He has no beef with the woman, no more than he has with anyone else, but frankly he'd hate to see someone else get her head on a platter before him.
He's not surprised to see someone else there already, though, and leans in the doorway to watch him rather than going in.
Philip goes from being startled to being annoyed at being startled to simply being annoyed in record time. He really should have expected company and he should have expected it to be... mirror-y and unpleasant.
...Then again, he did expect it a little. His hand wanders to his revolver, making sure it's still where he put it.
Santana thinks the mirror world is pretty crappy, and she doesn't know if she wants to hang around. But this is for the greater good, after all. And duh, of course she doesn't mean the rebellion. No, the greater good is to get back her damn bracelet.
Which would be why she is following Kurt's ridiculous mirror-person around, arms crossed and heaving dramatic sighs the linger they walk.
"Shut up; we're almost there," he snaps at her. Secretly though, he thinks Magnum is a pretty badass sounding nickname.
They really are almost there though. Kurt's mirror stops in front a door that's been left slightly ajar. That's how it was the last time he walked by as well, and he assumes it's from all the people who have been coming to reclaim belongings or raid her room for treasures.
Hopefully no one took her bracelet already, or he's going to be screwed.
He opens the door and enters, pausing to hold it for Santana, like a gentleman. Or maybe just because he thinks she might bitch a little otherwise.
"It's somewhere in here," he says, glancing around. He's never actually been in her room before. "It's her private quarters, and no one's s'pposed come in, so she hides stuff here."
Don't worry, Mellenkurt; the nickname was intended in the most sincere...ly patronizing way possible.
Anyway. Santana glides on through the doorway, looking around and approving of the color scheme. Then it's time to start searching.
"So were is The Royal Bitch, anyway?" Clearly, she's not too concerned with the Queen just showing up any second, with the way she's thrown herself onto the bed. What? The bracelet could totally be under the sheets.
"I dunno," he admits. "You'd figure she'd be here or have it locked up or somethin', but it's like she totally abandoned the place."
Honestly, it's pretty weird to him. For someone who's all about unmaking people and shouting to have their heads cut off, you'd think she'd be putting up more of a fight. It's...not really a comfort though. It just leaves him thinking she could be anywhere.
Even so, he's not exactly in a hurry. He wouldn't put it past Santana to grab her bracelet and run back through the Rabbit Hole, so he doesn't mind if the search takes a little while. He does side-eye her a little for flopping on the bed, but decides to just go over and peek at what's on the shelves instead.
When Mark realizes that the Queen's chambers are open, he remembers Minato's suggestion that he bug the place. Even if it's a trap, he won't get this opportunity again.
So he heads over and--carefully, touching nothing else on the shelves--nestles a small, tubular audio-recording device in among the Queen's trinkets.
"Just another gift," he murmurs to himself, feeling oddly sick--she made him to plot and plan and spy, and that's what he's doing. Logically, it shouldn't have this effect on him, but there's no way he can pretend the dryness of his mouth is mere coincidence.
Mark almost jumps, that's how uneasy this whole situation is making him. But he controls it quickly and holds up his hands--conspicuously empty. We just won't mention the firearm holstered under his jacket.
"It's not often that these rooms are accessible. Not the most polite thing, I know, but..." He shrugs smoothly. "I was curious."
He should probably say something about showing the Queen's quarters more respect, but... just because he thinks her laws are important doesn't mean he likes the overbearing bitch.
Daniel's sharp to counterpoint his regular's derpiness, so he picks up on Mark's unease. But that isn't proof of guilt; it's just something to make note of.
"This is the first time I have entered her rooms myself."
With a quiet but distinct chiming, the Medicine Seller enters the room.
Or at least announces his presence there. It can be extremely hard to tell, with him.
At any rate, he's there, doing what he does best--poking and fussing and meddling, and occasionally slapping magic scrolls on things to see how they react. This is the biggest break he's had since he got here, and yet, even here in the heart of the Queen's lair, he has no idea of her Truth, her Regret, even her Form. He's been here for months, and still, nothing he's done has been able to expose any of her truths.
Perhaps, if nothing else, the trinkets will tell him something. He rifles through them with a delicate touch, replacing everything as it was found, making an extremely detailed mental list. With the eyes on the very top of it.
There was no way Conan was passing up the chance to investigate the Mirror's side. When he found that the Queen's Chambers were now able to be seen, he was so there. No doubt about it.
It can't be that huge of a chamber, so naturally, while Conan was poking around on his own, he caught sight of the Medicine Seller doing his weird...magic scroll thingies.
Cue the looking. And the caution. Was it a mirror or not? More importantly, was he dangerous or not?
"Hello, mister. ....Are you a Mirror or not?" Conan asked, deciding to go straight forward. Who knew how long they could stay here. He didn't want to waste too much time talking to someone else.

With his other hand he pockets a CD defiantly.
"I don't think I care."

His fingers brush over the surface of a shelf, his eyes following the movement calmly. "Then again, that's what all this is about, isn't it?"
He slowly turns his attention back to the other man. "Not that I care much either way."

He doesn't look hostile, just stern, but let's wait and see how the conversation progresses.
"I hope you are here as a royalist and not a rabble-rouser, sir."
