-Jeff & Jayme's wedding was beautiful and wicked awesome. CONGRATULATIONS!
-there were safety dances and Martinis (can't remember how many of either)
-pecans are harder to eat than one might think
-I can put on makeup in a moving limo using the ceiling mirrors...WOOT!
-in CT there are only two speeds 50 MPH and 90+MPH

That smoke cloud is about as big as the State, it seems. Just that it blew out to sea, and now it's blowing back in. My Dad was supposed to have gone to LA, but cancelled, for reasons completely unrelated to the fire...is now glad he's not there, as this would have kicked up his asthma, or so he figures.

And for those that read the business news..."I'm taking the money and running"

If you are talking about the dollar, you may be emigrating to Canada at the right time. I'm taking a trip to Amsterdam and Iceland in the next upcoming months, and am nervously watching the Euro and the Kronur every day...

Yikes! Glad your dad stayed home. My dad made me promise to avoid LA (and other smoggy cities like Chicago, Detroit etc...) as he is from SoCal and said that the air there could kill me. Not the best thing for asthmatics, but then again, neither is New England ;-)

As the money comment, I wasn't even thinking about the weak dollar, but that certainly adds to my desire to leave real quick.

Actually, the company that I work for has been in the news a lot lately. It would seem that an semi-evil mega corp (publically owned but run by one L.E.) is interested in pruchasing my company and has made a public bid. We shall see, the current bid of 6.66 Billion (I'm not joking) would pay roughly $17/share...hence my "take the money and run" attitude. Might be a good time to change locations, occupations, etc...
