Brian Viglione of the Dresden Dolls laid down some drum tracks on a few of the album's songs. he said it was an awesome experience. i think he blogged about it in the Dresden Dolls' myspace
Trent is selling the new album on his website, direct to you, with no crappy record label involved, for like tree fitty. Well, $5 USD for a download, but that's still pretty cool. (And you can download the first 9 tracks for free). You can also choose between MP3, FLAC, or that fancy high quality iTunes format.
Or you can order it on actual CDs for $10, or on CDs, DVDs, and Blu-Ray discs with the multitrack data to do your own remixes (in a commemorative box) for $75.
For a while it was also available on limited edition vinyl with a fancy book and some posters and other stuff for $300, but that sold out (all 2,500 copies!) so I guess it's working out pretty well for him so far. ;-)
