Things I learned in Ottawa:

I learned some fun things last week...

  • Sometimes the best thing to do in life is throw all caution to the wind and go on an unplanned, no-drama adventure!  I have to admit, I don’t usually just run off to another country to visit a friend on a whim, but it was very worth it.

"Vansterdam" that's too funny. I highly recommend the trip though and if you hit Vancouver, I cannot recommend enough the drive out to Whistler and Black Comb. The zip line stuff was way fun.

Adventures, sagas, they're all good in my book. I honestly don't travel nearly as much as I once did. I miss meeting new people and going on some unplanned merriment :)

The zip line stuff was sooo much fun. You go wicked fast through a valley up by Whistle mountain. And you get to hang out in a beautiful temperate rain forest :)

While driving to the spot, they took us past some of the stuff they are building in preparation for the Winter games.
