We finally took our hummingbird feeders down this week. It had become apparent the only ones still enjoying our largesse were bees. I don't mind that, but there are plenty of other late flowers for them to suck on, so down they came. We wish our babies godspeed on their long trek south ( Read more... )

It might just be my fancy, but to me they look happier already :)

The ghost-busting thing was actually fun. The reactions of folks afterwards was interesting, though. A reporter from the local paper came along and wrote a short piece on it, which was on the front page right after that. I went to a dentist appointment, and got hit with a mixed bag of animosity, interest, and skepticism. Something like that can really bring out hidden sides of people.

We're gradually getting accustomed to having to plan our movie watching :) It's just so hard for me to plan anything! I liked the spontaneity Blockbuster offered - just walk in and pick something up on the spur of the moment - so to have that taken away makes me cranky. Still, you're right, Netflix itself isn't so bad :) As long as we have mail service, we're good.

And thank you for all your kind words. My heart thanks you, too :) I wish you many soul treasures as well.
