You're welcome! :) Today is just such a beautiful day.

I'm glad you like the fabric choices! I have to admit I had help. My way of picking colors is to stand the bolts in front of the racks and then step away, then add another one, then step away, etc. In the meantime, people going by often make comments as to what they like or don't like. Two older ladies stopped and really got into it, offering all kinds of advice. It turned into a group project. lol. But I do think it's the better for their input.

I bet you'd totally love quilting! Finding just the right pattern, deciding on the colors and then following that over-arching vision to a satisfying conclusion - it's like the writing process in so many ways. Plus it's a real stress-buster :)

You know, I had a dwarf weeping cherry tree I planted years ago, and it never grew at all, it is still smaller than the one you have pictured. So I hope yours goes better than mine did.

Full disclosure: This is actually our third attempt. The first one lasted almost 20 years before storm damage did it in. Our second was a tiny thing and didn't make it through our double blizzard this past winter. This time around, we spent the money and bought a bigger tree. So far, it seems to be doing well *crossing fingers* It helps that we've had a pretty wet spring :)
