It was one of those things that began on a whim. Here we were surrounded by all these fantastic fragrances, and then I remembered my grandmother talking about how she used to make her own toilet water as a child. I can't wear or use a lot of products because they give me a headache, but this sounded like a possibility, so I thought I'd try it. I tracked down instructions on the Internet for making it, and it's super easy! The scent is faint, just an alluring whiff when applied, but I like that :)
When everything first started blooming, there were so many, the fragrance would come in waves: wisteria, honeysuckle, black locust, lily-of-the-valley and now the rose. I so wish it would last longer.
I've been giving the chippie the last of the fall acorns we picked up. We're about to run out, though. She may turn her nose up at my offerings after that.

The chipmunk is super cute and probably going to be fat as heck before long.
