lola suggested I do an icon post of all the ones I've created/entered in competitions.
So here goes:

Icons removed: will be replaced at a later date.

Please tell me what you think and hopefully you will have see an improvement in my icons as I've gotten to grips with photoshop.

Even though I don't watch Lost, I think those icons are my favorites. I really love the colors in them.

And I'm snagging the Some Girls icon. ;) Hee! Only 45 more days.

Thanks Tee. Yes, the migraine is gone...for now. I went back to work today, but being around these really bright lights and the computer glare is not helping. I feel it coming back, but the new medicine that the doc gave me seems to be keeping it at bay. Plus, this medicine doesn't make me drowsy like the other did.

I'm going to be babysitting the little one tomorrow. EEP! I'm a little scared. She's only a month old. I'm a little nervous. :/

Tracey's wee one Isobel is 7 months and Im still not sure I'd be okay looking after her. I actually get kinda bored when they're that young. I cant wait for her to get into toy playing properly!

Though I did manage to stop her crying the other day and I was so proud of myself! lol

I bet your wee one is so teeny weeny! They're like little dolls at that age!

Yay! you made your icon post!

I love the first one, because of the colouring, and the "faded light" texture you used. I also like the Frozen Abby icon, the frame looks really nice.

#9 of Lost is my fave. It's sharpened enough so that it's crisp, but not overdone. You used the text effectively too...I prefer smaller text.

Frozens - one of my favourites I've done yet. And I love the ana lucia lost one too! But it didnt get anywhere in the comp I entered it in, sadly.

I think your icons are really good. I like the coloring a lot, especiallly in the Lost ones. :)

And there's definite improvement. It gets so much easier once you figure out what you're doing in Photoshop, doesn't it? ;)

It really does get easier. When I first started I had no idea about using layers to manipulate an image, but the tutorials on LJ are fantastic. I was reading about drop shadows to give depth to an image yesterday, which Im going to have to try at some point.
